Stewardship and Conduct

Terra Summer Italia takes place in a setting that is exquisitely beautiful, pristine, and kind. It is a privilege for us to be able to offer the program at Lo Spineto, and it is an equal privilege for us to be friends of the owners of Lo Spineto, Marilisa and Franco.

Monte Cetona viewed from Lo SpinetoThe quality and longevity of the relationship between you and Terra Summer Italia and between Terra Summer Italia and our hosts depend on the way we conduct ourselves every day and every moment in the program and on the property.

Simple rules should guide our conduct at Lo Spineto:

  • Treat everyone and everything with respect.
  • Be responsible and mindful.
  • Have utmost respect for the houses – including the Terra house (Il Piano) – all the property therein, and other guests on the Spineto property.
  • Don’t litter or create unnecessary waste.
  • Engage in quiet, respectful play.
  • Seek to make all places better through your presence.

Il Piano - Interior viewNote: The houses of Lo Spineto are not hotel rooms or like hotel rooms: They are full of art and important and valuable objects and furniture that belong to Marilisa and Franco.

The Pool: Children are to swim in the pool only during their free time under the care and supervision of a parent(s). Terra Summer and Lo Spineto are not responsible for children while they are swimming.

We thank you.
